Anderson Speedway and the Anderson 100 Presented by JEGS.com Up Next (Special from Deuser Motorsports)
July 18, 2013
Georgetown, Indiana (July 18, 2013) – The fast 1/4 (0.250) mile high-banked paved oval of
Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana is next on the 2013 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour
Presented by Chevrolet Performance schedule as the Anderson 100 Presented by
JEGS.com awaits 15-year-old Corey Deuser and his Deuser Motorsports Team. Like the
majority of the tracks on the schedule, it's a new track and a new challenge for the
Hoosier State teenager.

"I've been to Anderson to watch races in the ARCA/CRA Super Series and the CRA Late
Model Sportsman Series and I ran a Mini Cup race there back in 2010 and really liked
the track," Stated the Georgetown, Indiana driver. "I'm looking forward to finally getting in
a Late Model there this time." He added.

Deuser is right in the middle of a tight race for the 2013 Howie Lettow Memorial Rookie
of the Year title in JEGS/CRA with fellow 15-year-old Jake Griffin as well as seven other
freshman vying for the coveted crown. In the last race at the famed Salem Speedway in
Salem, Indiana back on June 22nd for the Touchtone Energy 100 Presented by Focus
Eyewear & JEGS.com, Griffin posted a career high finish while Deuser was involved in a wreck and was shown 15th in the rundown.

"We had a good day all around at Salem. the car was great in the first practice and even better in the second practice and then we qualified the best we have all season in third," Deuser continued. "It was a hard track to get a hold of even though I understood it, being around other cars was different and racing them and learning how to pass was a big challenge. We ran the race good we wanted to tick off laps and be in a good position in the end. We were in second up until lap 54 and then a caution came out and we had to start on the inside."

On the restart, Deuser's right front tire went down and he in turn hit the wall. After coming down pit road to repair the damage and losing three laps in the process, the car began overheating and  in the end, Deuser pulled the car back pit side and called it a night.

Deuser has one top five in 2013 which was an impressive fifth place finish at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan on June 14th in the Berlin 100 Presented by Boyne Machine Company & JEGS.com. That also accounts for his lone top 10 and he is currently second in the rookie title chase behind Griffin while also sitting seventh overall just 31 markers outside of the coveted top five.

For the remainder of the 2013 racing season, Deuser's Red and Silver #14 Ford Fusion which is a Port City Racecars chassis will carry sponsorship support and stickers from Focus Eyewear as well as Deuser Electric, Arc Construction Management, Clayton Homes, Lucas Oil Products, RacerBoost.com, Big O Tires, McGunegill Engine Performance and M.P.H.
