In Position To Contend For The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Championship; Jerrod Foley Readies For Anderson
Currently Fifth in Points in a Tight Race for the 2013 Title (Special from J.L.J. Motorsports)
July 17, 2013
Williamsburg, Kentucky (July 17, 2013) – After taking some time off to regroup and
prepare for the rest of the 2013 racing season in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented
by Chevrolet Performance, Jerrod Foley has went a step further in their program as they
will debut their new Super Late Model and make his first career start in the ARCA/CRA
Super Series Powered by JEGS on July 26th at Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont, Indiana
for the Night of the Stars Twin 100s.

But first things first for the Williamsburg, Kentucky driver. Prior to doing double-duty in the
Circle City, there's a little business to take care of in the JEGS/CRA ranks this Friday,
July 19th at Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana as the fast 1/4 (0.250) mile high-
banked paved oval will host the Anderson 100 Presented by JEGS.com, which is part of
the Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 weekend at the Central Indiana speed plant.

"We started last year there on the outside pole with our back up car, the same car we will
be taking this time around as well. Last year's race the car fell off in the beginning of the
race causing us to fall back. We hope the adjustments we made to the car are
improvements and hope for a strong race this year." The 21-year-old stated. He would go
on to finish seventh in his only appearance at the fast 1/4 mile.

In his JEGS/CRA race this season, back on June 22nd at the famed Salem Speedway in Salem, Indiana, Foley would survive a crash filled event to bring home a seventh place finish and maintain a top five in the season long points chase and within striking distance of points leader, Cody Coughlin. "With the rough racing surface, it took us a little longer to get used to the track. We qualified without having the privilege of a 'Mach Qualifying Run' and started near the middle of the field not knowing how the car was going to react to a new set of tires." He explained.

"At the start of the race the car was dang near perfect focusing on saving tires and staying out of trouble, we was riding with the lead pack when the first caution came out, after the caution the car started getting progressively loose, coming in on the next caution to make some adjustment which helped the car for a few laps then once again getting loose, on the next caution we decided to pit again to tighten up the car some more." Foley reflected.

"After the next caution came out and the green flag dropped I went into the first corner and the car pushed straight to the wall bottoming out on the track and again in the next corner noticing we had a flat right front tire, having to make a pit stop under green putting us three laps down." He added. "With the help of the free pass and some hard driving we ended up coming back and finishing. Not what we hoped for but we had a clean car that finished in the top 10 after going several laps down.

So far in 2013, Foley is sitting fifth in the season long points standings for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour just 14 markers out of fourth place and 42 points back of the points lead. In five JEGS/CRA points races so far, Foley has accumulated three top 10 finishes with a season high of sixth coming at Columbus Motor Speedway in Columbus, Ohio back on May 25th in the CoughlinCars.com 100 Presented by JEGS.com.

For the rest of the 2013 racing season, Foley’s Black and Red #04 J.L.J.
