Dixie Motor Speedway Up Next For Chad Finley Racing (Special from Chad Finley Racing)

DeWitt, Michigan (June 6, 2013) – A strong contender all season long every time the

new Red #42 left the Chad Finley Racing shops in DeWitt, Michigan, Chad Finley put it

all together and swept the entire program at Columbus Motor Speedway in Columbus,

Ohio by breaking the Track Record in Qualifying and then repeating as the Winner of the

CoughlinCars.com 100 Presented by JEGS.com on May 25th.

Now the 21-year-old, the current points leader in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour

Presented by Chevrolet Performance, is hoping to duplicate that feat a little closer to

home in the third race of the season in the Dixie 100 Presented by JEGS.com on

Friday, June 7th at the fast 4/10s (0.400) mile progressively banked paved oval of Dixie

Motor Speedway in Birch Run, Michigan. Only an hour drive from home.

"We're all really looking forward to getting back to Dixie this weekend. It's been a really

strong race track for our team and myself. We have ran second the last three times we

have raced there," Finley stated. "We are very eager to get back there and shake the

monkey off our back and get a win close to home.

Finley started the weekend in Columbus by breaking the Track Record and first Boyne

Machine Fast Qualifier Award of the season in JEGS/CRA Competition with a 13.642. The previous record was a 13.796 set by 2011 Tour Champion, Erik Jones so Finley beat that by 0.154 seconds with a new mark that measures out to 87.876mph. This was Finley's second Track Record of 2013 as he shattered the mark back in March at the Rattler 250 at South Alabama Speedway in Opp, Alabama.

"Columbus was a great boost for our program as we learn more and more every race about our new Port City chassis," The DeWitt, Michigan standout continued. "I think we got a pretty good package for this weekend and it's been a great week off as some exciting news will be coming out of the CFR shops pertaining to 2014." He ended.
