"2013 was honestly a down year for us. Even though we worked with great people, we just couldn't seem to get over the hump." The Bremen, Kentucky teenager explained. "The experience we gained visiting the tracks on the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour in 2013 will be crucial in our run for the title in 2014. We're so excited about getting the new year started." He added.

After beginning his career in the Go-Karts ranks in 2008, Baize made the jump up to the Pro National Series racing Baby Grand stock cars in 2011 while also getting more seasoning back in the Go-Kart ranks.  In 2012, in his first full year of competition in the Baby Grands he finished second overall in the series point's standings while also winning the Rookie of the Year title.

The 2013 season featured the biggest career jump to date; to full-bodied stock cars starting with the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway (FL) as part of Florida Speedweeks. After finishing 14th in Speedweeks Pro Late Models points, he then went on to compete for the Howie Lettow Memorial Rookie of the Year title in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance.

He also collected a ninth place effort at the uniquely shaped Auto City Speedway (MI) back on August 10th. Overall, six of his 11 starts resulted in at least a top 15 finish.

"The opportunity to work with Johnny and Butch VanDoorn is a dream come true.  We worked on the deal for three months with no success, didn't really look like it would come together." Laughed the Blue Grass State teenager. "But we got it done and now we're ready to do some serious racing in 2014 from January through December starting in Georgia for SpeedFest 2014." Baize added

After SpeedFest, Baize and the team will return to New Smyrna Speedway (FL) to compete Pro Late Models portion of the 48th annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing from February 14-22nd. "We were in New Smyrna last year and had learned a lot. We are looking forward to going back and we are hoping for better results." He ended. After Speedweeks, all focus will shift to 2014 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Championship.
