Salem, Indiana (September 19, 2013) – Three time ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion
Johnny VanDoorn, the man everyone is talking about in late model racing these days, has
officially filed his entry for the upcoming 42nd Annual Winchester 400, that will be
contested on the famous High Banks of Winchester Speedway on Sunday, October 13th.

The reason everyone has been talking about VanDoorn, he has an opportunity to claim
the JEGS/CRA Super Late Model $100,000 Triple Crown Bonus if he can win the
Winchester 400. VanDoorn won the first two legs in the Triple Crown which were the June
15th Berlin 251 and the Redbud 300 at Anderson Speedway on July 20th, which
guarantees him a minimum $10,000 bonus, but now the all-time series win leader at
Winchester Speedway can do what no other asphalt late model racer has ever had a
chance to do, walk away with a $100,000 cash bonus! VanDoorn picked up his fifth series
win at Winchester in the 400 tune up on Labor Day Weekend.

VanDoorn will have plenty of talent to battle against for his possible $100,000 Cash Bonus
and the famed Winchester Rifle Trophy. Veteran late model racer Jeff Fultz has filed an
entry, Fultz is a two time series winner on the High Banks of Winchester Speedway and
is always in the hunt for the win at the 400. Also entering is Brad Kesolowski Racing’s
Austin Theriault from Maine, who won the PASS 300 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in
Maine this past Sunday afternoon. Theriault finished 23rd in last year’s 400. Also Florida teenager Stephen Nasse, a two time winner at New Smyrna Speedway during Speed Weeks, has entered, he finished 28th in last year’s 400.

Leading ARCA/CRA Super Series Boyne Machine Rookie of the Year contender Ali Kern has filed an entry. Kern is currently tied for second in series Championship points with Rick Turner. Fellow Boyne Machine Rookie of the Year contender Brandon Oakley has also entered. Oakley is currently second in Rookie Points and fifth in series Championship points. Series veteran racer Kenny Tweedy has filed an entry, he is currently in fourth place in series Championship points. Part-time CRA competitor Eddie Van Meter has also now entered the 400.
