Cutlerville, Michigan (September 18, 2013) – After missing several events during the 2013
racing season due to Car Owner and Father, Tom Niewiek's health issues as well as just
plain bad luck throughout the year, Jay Niewiek is ready to make up for lost time with an
aggressive schedule for the remainder of the season and it starts with the McGunegill
Engine Performance CRA Fall Brawl 2013 at Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont, Indiana.

The 20-year-old will make the trip down to the immaculate 0.686 mile progressively
banked paved oval on Saturday-Sunday, September 21-22nd and complete in the
headlining ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS race; the T.J. Racing Lubricants
100 Presented by Quarter Master. After LOR, the plans are for Niewiek, Crew Chief, Dave
Sensiba and the rest of the Jay Niewiek Motorsports Team to compete in the Winchester
400 as well as the last two non-points races at Memphis International Raceway and
Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville on back to back weekends.

"I'm looking forward to heading down to Indianapolis. This whole team is trying to make up
for some lost time this season. We haven't been on the track much, so hopefully we can
salvage something out of this year," The Cutlerville, Michigan driver stated. "LOR has been
a pretty good track for us. We have one of our career high fourth place finishes there back in 2011, so maybe we can pull out a good finish this time too." He added.

His last race was at his home track of Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan on August 31st during the 2nd annual Chet Championship Weekend, the season finale at the historic 7/16s (0.437) mile semi-banked paved oval before the facility converted over to dirt for the month of September. Niewiek competed in the 60-Lap Budweiser Super Late Model Series championship race and left with a ninth place showing after qualifying 11th quick.

"We've been actually really good at Berlin this year and we've got a good set-up, so I wanted to race there one last time before we started traveling the rest of the season." Niewiek remarked as he and his Jay Niewiek Motorsports Team continue preparations for the trip down to LOR. "We just haven't raced much this season due to a wide variety of issues, but hopefully we can make up for that the rest of the season." He added.

Despite missing six total ARCA/CRA Super Series points races, Niewiek is sitting in 12th place in the season long points chase, just 17 points out of the coveted top 10 in the Drivers Points Standings and 45 markers out of the top 10 in the Owners Points Standings. He does have three top 10 finishes with a season high of an eighth, which he has done twice with the most recent coming at Berlin on August 3rd. His first eight place showing came at Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana back on May 4th.

For the remainder of the 2013 racing season, Niewiek’s popular blue #84, in tribute to Dorr, Michigan legend, Bob Senneker, is a Ford Fusion and will carry sponsorship decals throughout the year from; Michigan CAT of Grand Rapids as well as T.A.A.G. Incorporated, Cordes Trucking, Tri-State Collector Car Appraising , TerryTownRV.com, Precision Property Management, and M.P.H. Promotions.
