Walker, Michigan (September 18, 2013) – The H.S. Die / VISI-TST Ford Racing Team with
driver, Brandon Hermiller will head down to the immaculate Lucas Oil Raceway in
Clermont, Indiana on Saturday-Sunday, September 21-22nd to participate in the
headlining ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS portion of the McGunegill Engine
Performance CRA Fall Brawl 2013 Presented by P.A.D.D. (People Against Distracted
Driving). Based off of recent showings at the Circle City oval, Hermiller is very optimistic
about his chances this time around.
"I'm excited about this week's race in Indy. LOR is by far my favorite track that we race at.
We usually run pretty good there. We should have a good car this time too," The 20-year-
old relayed. "We were fast there in this race last year and we were really good there back
in July during the Twin 100s in both cars. We're concentrating only on the Super Late
Model this weekend. I think we're going to be real good and I can't wait to get down there."
He added.
His finishes at LOR during the Night of the Stars Twin 100s back on July 26th during the
2013 Brickyard Speedweeks were a seventh in the ARCA/CRA Super Series portion after
qualifying 10th out of 33 entries and a sixth place showing in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour
Presented by Chevrolet Performance race after timing in ninth in a field of 29 machines on the grounds.
In his last race overall, the Springport Fall Brawl 100 for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance on September 14th at Springport Motor Speedway, located south of Lansing and about 90 minutes from the H.S. Die shops in Springport, Michigan, Hermiller qualified 11th fastest out of 27 cars on hand and would end up ninth when the checkered flag flew.
For the remainder of the 2013 racing season, Hermiller's red #6 H.S. Die / VISI-TST Ford Racing Team Port City Racecars Ford Fusions, one with an Ernie Elliott Engine and another with a Crate Motor under the hood will both carry sponsorship decals all season long from; H.S. Die & Engineering as well as VISI-TST Software, River Hills Lodge, Big Jon Sports, West End Body Shop, Steuhower Frozen Foods, Beaver Research Company and M.P.H. Promotions.
