19-Year-Old Travis Braden Looking For A Win At His 'Home Track' Of Kil-Kare Speedway
ARCA/CRA Super Series Points Leader Getting Closer to Wrapping Up 2013 Championship
(Special from Travis Braden Motorsports)
September 13, 2013
Wheeling, West Virginia (September 13, 2013) – As 19-year-old Travis Braden gets closer
and closer to wrapping up the 2013 ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS
Championship, he has a mammoth 142-point lead over his closest competitor, the reality
of a Championship in the premier  Super Late Model series in the country is starting to set
in for the Wheeling, West Virginia driver as there are only three points races remaining on
the 2013 ARCA/CRA Schedule.

In a 'first' for Braden and his Travis Braden Motorsports Team, the West Virginia University
student finally gets to compete close to home at his home track in ARCA/CRA Super
Series competition at the tricky 3/8s (0.375) mile semi-banked paved oval of Kil-Kare
Speedway, located southeast of Dayton in Xenia, Ohio on Sunday, September 15th for the
Buckminn's D&D Harley-Davidson / Oakley Blacktop 125. While still three hours from
home, Kil-Kare is Braden's home tracks and he's excited to say the least about
reacquainting with old friends.

"We are in the final stretch of the season now and it is going to be a great one I believe for
my team. Three of our best/favorite tracks including one of my home tracks (Kil-Kare) that
I have thousands of laps around."The excited Mountaineer State driver remarked." My
goals this weekend and also for the last two races is to just race hard for a win each week.
Obviously wins also benefit the championship cause, but we want to make a statement
and go out in a big way. A Winchester 400 win would be a great way to top off such a strong season for all my guys." He added.

In his last race at one of his favorite tracks, the legendary 1/2 (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Indiana. The Winchester 100 was conducted on Labor Day Monday, September 2nd and Braden strengthened his hole on his points lead with a solid second place effort behind Three-Time and Reigning ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion, Johnny VanDoorn.

"The last race at Winchester was almost as good as the first one," Braden continued in reference to his first career ARCA/CRA victory, which came at Winchester back on June 29th. "I thought we were going to have something for 'JVD' and we could get to him, but I don't know if I could have made it work to get around him. The great run though was another huge boost, giving us an even larger points cushion to work with and focus on winning rather than be as conservative." He ended.

"The rest of the season is really shaping up to be a group of dream races for me. Kil-Kare this weekend, Lucas Oil Raceway next weekend, and then the Winchester 400." He added. "Then on to two very famous tracks after the points season concludes (Memphis and Nashville). This season has been a dream come true and as the old cliché goes, if it is a Dream, I don't want to wake up." Braden ended.

The Current Points Leader in the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS has a comfortable 142-point advantage over the second place car of Rick Turner as he has two Wins to go with six top fives and eight  top 10 finishes. He has 255 laps led in ARCA/CRA competition, second only behind VanDoorn who has 446. He also has a win in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour back on June 14th at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan during the Berlin 100 Presented by Boyne Machine Company & JEGS.com.
