ARCA/CRA Super Series Ready for First ever Battle at Kil-Kare Speedway This Sunday, September 15th 
35th All-Time Track in Series' 17-Year History

Salem, Indiana (September 11, 2013) – The ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS
will make its first ever visit to Kil-Kare Speedway, located in Xenia, Ohio, this Sunday,
September 15th. The event was added after Baer Field Speedway canceled it’s series
event that was scheduled for Sunday, September 15th. The Buckminn’s D&D Harley-
Davidson/Oakley Blacktop 125 will pit the best of the ARCA/CRA Super Series against
some very tough local competition.

Topping the list of series regulars who are entered is current series point’s leader Travis
Braden, who is no stranger to Kil-Kare, Braden is a former Kil-Kare Raceway Champion
and a multi-time feature winner on the unique 3/8’s mile. Other top CRA drivers entered for
Sunday’s event include Kenny Tweedy, Rick Turner, Nick Gullatta, Brett Robinson, Matt
Hall, as well as North Carolina’s Jeff Fultz and Derrick Griffin in Tim Bennett’s #21 car. The
top two Boyne Machine Rookie of the Year candidates Ali Kern and Brandon Oakley are
also entered for Sunday. Oakley is another former regular at Kil-Kare, and is expected to
be very competitive in Sunday’s race.

There are several local drivers entered with lots of experience at Kil-Kare including Enon, Ohio racer Mike Stacy, a part-time CRA competitor for car owner Jeff Miller. Stacy has scored multiple victories in the past at Kil-Kare and is one of the favorites along with Germantown’s Justin Alsip and Dayton’s Don Mahaffey Jr., who are currently tied for the Kil-Kare Speedway Late Model points lead heading into this Friday’s Championship night at Kil-Kare. Alsip has raced with CRA off and on for several seasons, Mahaffey made his ARCA/CRA Super Series debut in last season’s Winchester 400. Both are looking forward to Sunday’s event after they settle their Championship on Friday.

Other drivers entered with lots of laps at Kil-Kare include ARCA/CRA Super Series part-time competitors Kyle Jones and Jeep Pflum, and Gary Estes, car owner for Braden, who will make his CRA debut as a driver on Sunday. Other local drivers making their CRA debut include Chad Pendleton, Josh Cahill, Bobby Justice and Cody Robinson

On Sunday, pits open at 11am. Practice will begin at 1pm, with qualifying starting at 3pm. Racing action will begin at 4pm and will include the Buckminn’s D&D Harley Davidson/Oakley Blacktop 125 for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS along with special feature events for the Kil-Kare Speedway Sport Stocks and Compact divisions.
