Walker, Michigan (August 9, 2013) – Brandon Hermiller is riding a nice wave of
momentum over the past couple of races as he and his H.S. Die / VISI-TST Ford Racing
Team have been impressive in the last four consecutive races with finishes of third, sixth,
seventh and sixth. The latest finish, the second sixth place showing in those last four
events occurred at his home track of Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan, just 10 minutes
from the Walker, Michigan race shops.
The ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS visited Berlin for the third time in 2013
with the rescheduled Tri-State Car Collector Appraising 125 Presented by T.A.A.G.
Incorporated. This event was rained out on its original date of May 11th and rescheduled
as part of 'Duck Dynasty Night' at the track as television stars from the hit series on the
A&E Channel will be in Marne, Michigan signing autographs and serving as Grand
Marshals for the race.
After Qualifying eighth quick, he would start the 125-lap main from the outside of the
fourth row. After working his way into the top five, only a late race pass relegated him to
a sixth place showing. "It was a good race for the entire H.S. Die Team, we were running
right with the leaders for almost the entire race and showed that we can compete. I feel we've finally started turning a corner and this entire team is really starting to gel." The 20-year-old stated.
After originally planning on making a third trip to Wisconsin, Hermiller and Crew have decided to instead head East and compete with the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance at Auto City Speedway in Clio, Michigan on Saturday, August 10th for the Silver Bullet 100 Presented by Coors Light & JEGS.com. The team is looking forward to their first ever appearance at the uniquely shaped 7/16s (0.437) mile semi-banked paved oval.
"We're looking forward to trying this track out. Plus it'll give us an idea of what to expect next week when we go back for the ARCA/CRA Super Series race." Hermiller explained. "We're looking forward to competing with the JEGS/CRA teams again and I've heard the weekly guys there are pretty strong. We'll find out." He ended.
