Brian Campbell Scores ARCA/CRA Win At Berlin Raceway; Now Looking For Redemption At Kalamazoo Speedway
Template Super Late Models portion of Kalamazoo Klash Offers a $7,500 Payday (Special from KBR Development)
August 8, 2013
Grand Rapids, Michigan (August 8, 2013) – All it took was a little home cooking and a
unintended challenge from Car Owner, Mike Bursley and Brian Campbell would find
himself in victory lane at his home track of Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan as
Campbell scored a convincing victory in the Tri-State Car Collector Appraising 125
Presented by T.A.A.G. Incorporated for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS
on August 3rd.

In 15 career ARCA/CRA appearances at Berlin, Campbell has accounted for 1/3 of the
wins as he scored his fifth career ARCA/CRA triumph at his home track and 11th overall
of his ARCA/CRA Super Series career. "We were really good all day long. We weren't
showing all of our cards until we passed Travis (Braden) for the lead, then I wanted to
get as far away from everyone as possible." The Wyoming, Michigan driver stated in
victory lane surrounded by family and members of his team. "We've been struggling a
little bit this year, but this definitely feels good to get back to where we belong." The
driver of the #20 KBR Development / Ford added.

In front of over 9,000 fans at the Marne, Michigan speed plant on Duck Dynasty Night at
the track, Campbell qualified fourth fastest out of 23 cars and after the inversion draw,
would start on the inside of the third row. After followed current ARCA/CRA Points
Leader, Travis Braden by early race leader, Dave Lake, Campbell rode around the fast
7/16 (0.437) mile semi-banked paved oval until lap 67 when he made the winning pass.

"This is a good team we have here at KBR Development and I'm just happy for all the guys on this team. They've worked so hard this year, but the results just haven't been there until recently." Campbell continued. "(Car Owner) Mike (Bursley) had to get into the JEGS/CRA car last weekend and get that first win for the team, which kind of recharged everyone for the rest of the year. We're very happy." He ended.

The next race on the 2013 schedule for Campbell and the team will be on Wednesday, August 14th at Kalamazoo Speedway in Kalamazoo, Michigan for the Boyne Machine Shootout, a 100-Lap main paying $7,500 to Win as the race is open to Template Super Late Models from around the country.

In addition, and for the first time since Campbell has been a part of KBR Development, he'll be racing against his Car Owner, Mike Bursley, who is also entering the race and making only his second start of the 2013 racing season after winning the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance race at Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont, Indiana on July 26th.

In last year's race, Campbell and VanDoorn had a thrilling battle in front of the packed house on hand before a flat tire ended Campbell's chances. "I wished we could've made it to the end against Johnny, maybe we would've been the ones taking home the big paycheck," Said Campbell, who was the fast qualifier in last year's template Klash.  "We had the best car we've had all year at Berlin last Saturday night and if we're as good at the Klash as we were at Berlin, we'll be tough to beat." He ended.

For the rest of the 2013 racing season, Campbell’s familiar white #20 KBR Development / Ford Fusion will carry sponsorship decals from McGunegill Engine Performance as well as Port City Racecars, Penske Racing Shocks, Handy Wacks Products and M.P.H. Promotions. In addition and when Bursley does race again, he'll also sport the familiar #20 KBR Development colors on his Ford Fusion and carry sponsorship from Berlin Raceway as well as McGunegill Engine Performance, Port City Racecars, Penske Racing Shocks, Handy Wacks Products and M.P.H. Promotions
