Team Construction Clean Sweep Award up to $400 for Berlin Raceway this Saturday, August 3rd

Salem, Indiana (August 3, 2013) – The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award will be at $400 for this Saturday’s Tri-State

Collector Car Appraising 125 Presented by T.A.A.G. Tooling event at Berlin Raceway for the ARCA/CRA Super Series

Powered by JEGS. Johnny VanDoorn claimed the Clean Sweep award at the series season opener at Toledo Speedway,

which was worth $500, with $400 carrying over from the 2012 season. T.J. Reaid and VanDoorn claimed the $100 awards

at the next two series events, Reaid at Anderson Speedway on May 4th and VanDoorn at the Berlin 251 on June 15th.

The award has not been claimed the last three races including last Friday’s Night of the Stars 100 at Lucas Oil Raceway

where EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier Chad Finley had issues early in the race and dropped out on lap 47 with a broken

rear end. Last Friday’s race was won by Ross Kenseth.

The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award consists of a $100 cash bonus if an event’s EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier

can also win that same event. If the fast qualifier fails to win, the $100 cash bonus is then rolled over to the next event

until an events fast qualifier wins that same event. After a fast qualifier wins, the award starts over again at $100.
