ARCA/CRA Super Series Freshman, 19-Year-Old Brandon Oakley Looking To Make One More Run At Rookie Title
World Stock Car Festival at Winchester Speedway is Next (Special from Brandon Oakley Racing)

Beavercreek, Ohio (August 30, 2013) – Brandon Oakley knows he is a contender in the
ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS Rookie of the Year title chase. That much
was evident when the 19-year-old scored a career high podium finish of a third in the Mid-
Michigan Toyota Dealers / Draper 125 at Auto City Speedway in Clio, Michigan on August
16th. However a 12th place finish the next night in the 7-Up 125 at Flat Rock Speedway in
Flat Rock, Michigan left the team with some work to do in the final four events.

"We had a pretty good run on Friday at Auto City. We struggled the next day at Flat Rock
and lost a lot of ground in points." The Beavercreek, Ohio driver remarked. "I'm excited to
head to my favorite track this week, and just start focusing on getting some good finishes.
We're not out of this Rookie title chase yet, but we've got some work to do and hopefully
in these next few races, we can make up some ground and get back in this thing." He
added.

The next race on the 2013 ARCA/CRA Super Series Schedule is at one of Oakley's
favorite tracks as this Sunday-Monday, September 1-2nd, the famed 1/2 (0.500) mile high-
banked paved oval of Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Indiana hosts the Winchester
100, the headlining event of the tracks prestigious World Stock Car Festival traditionally
held during the Labor Day Holiday Weekend.

In an effort to garner more seat time on the famed high-banks, Oakley will be bringing a second car to compete in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance portion of the weekend on Sunday, September 1st as the Winchester 100 Presented by JEGS.com highlights that night. In his only other JEGS/CRA appearance in 2013, he scored an impressive runner-up showing in the CoughlinCars.com 100 Presented by JEGS.com on May 25th at Columbus Motor Speedway in Columbus, Ohio.

"We need the seat time, we need to learn as much as we can this weekend, so we're taking two cars and hopefully we can apply what we learn on Sunday to Monday for the main race." Oakley explained. "After Winchester, we've got the Kil-Kare (Speedway) race and if there's one race that I know we have a great chance at getting a 'W' that is it," He added as he referenced the Buckminn's D&D Harley-Davidson / Oakley Blacktop 125 on Sunday, September 15th. Earlier this season, Oakley picked up a Feature Win back on April 26th in the tracks NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Weekly Late Models division

Oakley remains in second place in the Rookie of the Year title chase, but is now 44 markers behind Freshman points leader, Ali Kern. Overall in the ARCA/CRA Super Series in 2013, Oakley is an impressive fifth in the season long points chase, 31 points out of fourth spot. His season high finish is his third place showing at Auto City Speedway, which also accounts for his lone top 10 showing. Prior to the Auto City event, his best finish in ARCA/CRA competition was an 11th in the non-points SpeedFest 2013 back on January 27th at Watermelon Capital Speedway in  Cordele, Georgia.
