Brandon Hermiller To Spend The Labor Day Holiday Weekend At Berlin Raceway
Last Template Super Late Model Series Race of the Season at Home Track (Special from H.S. Die / VISI-TST Ford Racing Team)
August 28, 2013
Walker, Michigan (August 28, 2013) – After taking a well deserved weekend off from
racing, Brandon Hermiller will get back into the swing of things on Saturday, August 31st
at his home track of Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan, only 10 minutes from the race
shop, to compete in the tracks' Budweiser Super Late Model Series Championship finale
as part of the tracks 2nd annual Chet Championship Weekend.

In his last appearance at his home track, the Walker, Michigan driver finished sixth in an
ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS race back on August 3rd. His best finish in
the Berlin-only series was a third place showing back on July 13th. The 2011 Pro Stock
Track Champion is obviously very familiar with the unique 7/16s (0.437) mile semi-
banked paved layout of the historic Fairgrounds facility and hopes that his first Win in a
Template Super Late Model isn't far behind based on recent showings.

"This week we are racing at Berlin. I'm excited to come back to my home track and race
there with the template series." Hermiller stated as he and his H.S. Die / VISI-TST Ford
Racing Team make preparations for the final race of the season at Berlin. "We know we
have a car capable of winning, we know we have one of the best Crew Chiefs in the
business in Josh Slade, and we know we have one of the best teams around. Hopefully
we can prove that on Saturday." He added.

In Hermiller's last race, an ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS event, the Mid-Michigan Toyota Dealers / Draper 125 on August 16th at Auto City Speedway in Clio, Michigan, Hermiller and the H.S. Die / VISI-TST Ford Racing Team made the trip over to the uniquely shaped 7/16s (0.437) mile semi-banked paved oval located north of Flint, Michigan the week before in a JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance event in hopes of learning the unique layout ahead of time before returning with the Super Late Model.

After qualifying fourth quick, he would start from the outside of the front row thanks to the inversion draw of a five. After competing within the top five for the entire event, contact several times with another car relegated Hermiller to a disappointing seventh place showing. "Not much to say about Auto City. We had an awesome car. It was fast, but circumstances beyond our control took a win away from us." He ended.

For the remainder of the 2013 racing season, Hermiller's red #6 H.S. Die / VISI-TST Ford Racing Team Port City Racecars Ford Fusions, one with an Ernie Elliott Engine and another with a Crate Motor under the hood will both carry sponsorship decals all season long from; H.S.
