Team Construction Clean Sweep Award up to $500 for Auto City Speedway this Friday, August 16th

Could Reach $600 Saturday,  August 17th at Flat Rock Speedway

Salem, Indiana (August 15, 2013) – The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award will be at $500 for this Friday’s 3rd annual Mid-Michigan Toyota Dealers 125  event at Auto City Speedway for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS. Johnny VanDoorn claimed the Clean Sweep Award at the series season opener at Toledo Speedway, which was worth $500, with $400 carrying over from the 2012 season. T.J. Reaid and VanDoorn claimed $100 awards at the next two series events, Reaid at Anderson Speedway on May 4th and VanDoorn at the Berlin 251 on June 15th.

The award has not been claimed the last four races including last August 3rd’s event at Berlin Raceway where EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier Johnny VanDoorn was never able to mount a charge to the front after starting in sixth place, he ended the race in fourth place behind winner Brian Campbell.

If the Team Construction Clean Sweep Award is not claimed in Friday night’s event at Auto City Speedway, it would then roll over to Saturday night’s 7-UP 125 at Flat Rock Speedway and would be worth $600 for that event.

The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award consists of a $100 cash bonus if an event’s EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier can also win that same event. If the fast qualifier fails to win, the $100 cash bonus is then rolled over to the next event until an events fast qualifier wins that same event. After a fast qualifier wins, the award starts over again at $100.
