July 31, 2013
Cutlerville, Michigan (July 31, 2013) – After missing the last two ARCA/CRA Super Series
Powered by JEGS events due to an illness to Car Owner and Father, Tom Niewiek, three-
time Cometic Gaskets Hard-Charger of the Year Award Winner, Jay Niewiek will return to
action with ARCA/CRA at his home track of Berlin Raceway, located just 25 minutes from
the Cutlerville, Michigan race shops in Marne, Michigan on Saturday, August 3rd.

The Tri-State Car Collector Appraising 125 Presented by T.A.A.G. Incorporated is a big
night for the entire Jay Niewiek Motorsports team in several ways. First off, the title
sponsor and presenting sponsor of the race also have decals on Niewiek's familiar blue
#84 and secondly some of the cast members of the hit Television show; Duck Dynasty
on the A&E Network will also be on hand to sign autographs and serve as Grand Marshals
for the event.

"Dad is getting better every day and that's the good news and the more important news,"
The 20-year-old driver stated. "Now that he's getting better, we can focus more on our
racing. We always had faith that he would start getting better the closer this race got on
the calendar. We're excited. Definitely hated missing those two shows. We hadn't missed
a points race since our rookie season in 2011. But we're back now and ready to go." He
added.

After missing the  last two ARCA/CRA Super Series races, Niewiek has fallen to ninth in the season long points chase as he has two top 10 finishes with a season high of an eighth coming at Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana back on May 4th. In the series' first appearance at Berlin back on June 15th during the Inaugural Battle at Berlin 251, he was involved in a multi-car pile-up on lap 137 of the race and was relegated to a 29th place showing.

"We struggled the last time we raced at Berlin. We were holding our own in the race when we got caught up in some else's mess and wrecked the car pretty good. But with the time off, we've been able to put things back together, get another car for the stable and take the time to make sure everything is good to go before we go back out and compete. We'll be alright and we're real excited to get back out there." He ended.

For the remainder of the 2013 racing season, Niewiek’s popular blue #84, in tribute to Dorr, Michigan legend, Bob Senneker, is a Ford Fusion will carry sponsorship decals throughout the year from; Michigan CAT of Grand Rapids as well as T.A.A.G. Incorporated, Cordes Trucking, Tri-State Collector Car Appraising , TerryTownRV.com, Precision Property Management, and M.P.H. Promotions.
