Walker, Michigan (July 31, 2013) – After a season of highs and lows for Brandon
Hermiller and the H.S. Die / VISI-TST Ford Racing Team, the entire team feels like they
have things finally figured out and hopefully that will result in more consistent finishes
and perhaps even a win or two. Based on the last three events, Hermiller is definitely on
the right track, no pun intended.
Hermiller and Crew made the trip south to the immaculate Lucas Oil Raceway, located
west of Indianapolis in Clermont, Indiana on July 26th as both the ARCA/CRA Super
Series Powered by JEGS and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet
Performance co-headlined the Night of the Stars Twin 100s. Hermiller raced in both
events and came away from the Circle City with finishes of sixth (JEGS/CRA) and
seventh (ARCA/CRA).
"Last Weekend's races in Indy were good races for us. Both cars were pretty fast and I
think we've got something figured out with both of them." The Walker, Michigan driver
relayed after his two top 10 showings against stout fields in both races. "We've known all
along that we can compete with these guys in CRA and anywhere else we go, now that
we're starting to show it, hopefully it'll lead to bigger things. He added.
Hermiller will return to the site of his 2010 Track Championship in the tracks old Pro Stocks division on Saturday, August 3rd as Berlin hosts the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS for the second time in 2013 with the rescheduled Tri-State Car Collector Appraising 125 Presented by T.A.A.G. Incorporated. This event was rained out on its original date of May 11th and rescheduled as part of 'Duck Dynasty Night' at the track as television stars from the hit series on the A&E Channel will be in Marne, Michigan signing autographs and serving as Grand Marshals for the race.
"I'm looking forward to Berlin. The car has been fast there all year." The 20-year-old pilot continued. "If its anything like two weeks ago when we finished third, I think we might have something for them." In his last race at Berlin in the tracks Budweiser Super Late Models Series on July 13th and after Qualifying fifth quick, Hermiller finished behind the top two in the series points standings, veterans Tom Thomas and Ross Meeuwsen.
