Third Place Finish At Berlin Raceway Has Brandon Hermiller Optimistic About Double-Duty At LOR
Night of the Stars Twin 100s Up Next (Special from H.S. Die / VISI-TST Ford Racing Team)
July 24, 2013
Walker, Michigan (July 24, 2013) – The 2013 racing season for Brandon Hermiller and the
H.S. Die / VISI-TST Ford Racing Team has had its share of ups and downs. While not
concentrating on any one particular touring series, the 20-year-old has gained valuable
experience at a wide range of speed plants throughout the country, yet it was at his home
track of Berlin Raceway in his last race where things seem to finally start to come
together.

The historic Marne, Michigan facility, located only 10 minutes from the Walker, Michigan
race shop, served as hosts for the fourth race of the season on July 13th for the tracks
Budweiser Super Late Models Series, which utilizes template bodied machines with rules
matching the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS. After qualifying fifth fastest,
Hermiller would bring home an overall season high finish of a third.

"Last week's race at Berlin was a good race for the H.S. Die team. We came home with
a podium finish. The car was pretty good in the race. Now we are turning our focus
towards the next race(s) at Lucas Oil Raceway." Stated Hermiller. "We'll be running both races there and I'm looking forward to it. It's my favorite track and we had a pretty good car there last year so hopefully we will be fast and come out with solid finishes." He added.

The next race(s) on Hermiller's schedule is set for Friday, July 26th at the immaculate Lucas Oil Raceway, located west of Indianapolis in Clermont, Indiana as both the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance co-headline the Night of the Stars Twin 100s. Hermiller will race in both events as NASCAR stars Kenny Schrader, David Stremme and Kenny Wallace will also be racing in the ARCA/CRA portion of the event.

Four days prior to the Berlin race, the team made a return trip to the Cheese State for the 2nd annual Swiss Colony Howie Lettow Memorial 150 Presented by RaceTeamGear.com on July 9th for the ARCA Midwest Tour Presented by SCAG Power Equipment & Lester Buildings at the historic Milwaukee Mile located west of Milwaukee in West Allis, Wisconsin which was part of ARCAFest.

After just missing getting into the show on time after Qualifying 28th out of 61 cars on the grounds, Hermiller started on the pole of the Last Chance Race and easily took the victory over a strong field in that event to score his first checkered flag of the season. Unfortunately in the 150-lap main, he was involved in an incident, not of his own doing, and was shown 32nd in the final run down out of the 43 teams that started.

For the rest of the 2013 racing season, Hermiller's red #6 H.S. Die / VISI-TST Ford Racing Team Port City Racecars Ford Fusion with an Ernie Elliott engine under the hood will carry sponsorship decals all year long from; H.S. Die & Engineering as well as VISI-TST Software, River Hills Lodge, Big Jon Sports, West End Body Shop, Steuhower Frozen Foods, Beaver Research Company and M.P.H. Promotions.
