Leg Injury Will Take Anderson Bowen out of CRA Competition for Four to Six Weeks
Takes Rookie Points Leader out of Contention for 2013 Freshman Title

Salem, Indiana (July 11, 2013) – Champion Racing Officials have announced that 15 year old Anderson Bowen, currently third in season Championship points with the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the leader in Boyne Machine Company Rookie of the Year points, will be forced out of CRA competition for four to six weeks after sustaining a leg injury last weekend. The injury occurred while on the beach in Daytona. Bowen will miss the upcoming Redbud 300, plus series events at Lucas Oil Raceway on July 26th, Berlin Raceway on August 3rd and the August 11th event at Madison International Speedway.

According to Bowen’s father, David, Anderson has a fracture in his lower right leg were it meets the ankle. Bowen is in a cast, which he is scheduled to wear for four to six weeks. Everyone at CRA would like to wish Anderson a speedy recovery!
