DBV Properties to Sponsor Special Bonuses at the Winchester 100 Saturday
Bonuses to Honor Leffler and Trickle

Salem, IN (June 26, 2013) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS is pleased to announce that DBV Properties has agreed to sponsor two cash bonuses for this Saturday’s ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS Winchester 100 at the famous High Banks of Winchester Speedway. Saturday’s event will be a part of a full weekend of ARCA sanctioned racing at Winchester that will include racing action from the ARCA Truck Series on Saturday night. The ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards will practice and qualify on Saturday and will compete in the Herr’s Chase the Taste 200 on Sunday afternoon.
DBV Properties will award a $250 cash bonus to the leader of lap 37, which was the age of former open wheel and NASCAR competitor Jason Leffler who died on June 12th in a Sprint Car accident at Bridgeport Speedway. Leffler competed several times in a USAC Midget at Winchester Speedway.
DBV Properties will award a second $250 cash bonus to the leader of lap 99, which was the car number Dick Trickle made famous during his very successful short track racing days that included many laps around the High Banks of Winchester Speedway. Trickle died on May 16th at the age of 71.
There will be several other cash bonuses awarded at Saturday’s event including:
Hoosier Racing Tire Performance Awards – Hoosier Racing Tire will award the driver finishing in the top five of the event who improved the most positions a $150 bonus, and the driver who improved the most positions of the finishers from six through tenth with a $150 bonus.
EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier Award – a $100 bonus to the Fast Qualifier
Boyne Machine Company Rookie of the Race Award – A $100 bonus for the highest finishing registered rookie
VR-12 Halfway Leader Award - The driver leading the halfway lap of the event will receive a $100 bonus
Team Construction Clean Sweep Award - A $100 cash bonus will be paid out if the Fast Qualifier can also win the race.
Hawk Performance CRA Member Bonus – A $50 bonus to the highest finishing series registered member
