Redemption Is What Chad Finley Seeks At The Inaugural Battle At Berlin 251
One Win & Two Track Records Already in 2013 (Special from Chad Finley Racing)
June 13, 2013
DeWitt, Michigan (June 13, 2013) – Chad Finley has had his share of highs and lows
during the 2013 racing season. He started the year by shattering the Track Record at
South Alabama Speedway in Opp, Alabama in March during the 37th annual Rattler 250
Weekend and led the first 100 laps before electrical problems ended his day. He broke
another Track Record at Columbus Motor Speedway in Columbus, Ohio and swept the
weekend by winning the CoughlinCars.com 100 Presented by JEGS.com over the
Memorial Day Holiday Weekend.

In between those two shows and immediately after Columbus however, things haven't
gone as well for the DeWitt, Michigan driver. Nothing more heartbreaking though for the
Chad Finley Racing Team than at Dixie Motor Speedway in Birch Run, Michigan during
the Dixie 100 Presented by JEGS.com. Going into the race, the 21-year-old was the
JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour  Points Leader, rear end problems ended the day early for
Finley and in turn knocked him out of a potential JEGS/CRA title run.

Now Finley and his CFR crew will look to redeem themselves at historic 7/16s (0.437)
mile semi-banked paved oval of Berlin Raceway, located west of Grand Rapids in Marne,
Michigan on Saturday, June 15th as they get back into ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS mode and will compete in the first major short track event of the season in the Midwest; the Inaugural Battle at Berlin 251.

The 251-lap main will also serve as the first jewel in the $100,000 JEGS Triple Crown Series as a potential $100,000 is up for grabs to the driver who can win all three legs of the series. After the 251, the Triple Crown continues with the continues with the Redbud 300 at Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana on July 20th and concludes with the 42nd running of the Winchester 400 on October 13th.

If a driver can win all three races, they will get a whopping $100,000 bonus. If someone can win two of the three Triple Crown events that driver will receive a $10,000 bonus.  If no driver wins two of the Triple Crown events, the driver who accumulates the most points during those three events will receive a $5,000 bonus and the title of Champion of the JEGS/CRA $100,00 Super Late Model Triple Crown. A bonus that Finley is definitely intrigued by.

"The money up for grabs certainly has our attention. JEGS has become a great marketing leader in CRA and across the Midwest. We would like nothing more than to take John’s (Coughlin) money." Laughed Finley. "Right now we just need to get back on track and get our momentum back in stride from our Columbus win. Dixie was going to be a great race for us and unfortunately we had some major gremlins. Again this sport has the highest of high’s and the unforgettable lowest of low’s. We have good people here and good race cars. We will just keep digging and move on." He ended.
