Jay Niewiek & Dave Sensiba To Carry The Jay Niewiek Motorsports Colors This Weekend At Berlin Raceway
Sensiba To Pull Double-Duty in both JEGS/CRA & ARCA/CRA Races (Special from Jay Niewiek Motorsports)
June 12, 2013
Cutlerville, Michigan (June 12, 2013) – Jay Niewiek Motorsports will be a busy team and
they wouldn't want it any other way this Friday-Saturday, June 14-15th in the Inaugural
Battle at Berlin Weekend at the teams' home track of Berlin Raceway, located just 20
minutes from the race shop in Marne, Michigan. Jay Niewiek will concentrate on the
Inaugural Battle at Berlin 251 on Saturday while teammate, Dave Sensiba will be doing
double-duty.

Sensiba will start the weekend by running in the Friday headlining race; the Berlin 100
Presented by Boyne Machine Company & JEGS.com for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour
Presented by Chevrolet Performance. Then the Middleville, Michigan veteran will take the
same #48 crate motored machine and race in the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by
JEGS headlining race of the weekend; the Inaugural Battle at Berlin 251 with Niewiek.
Sensiba will also be going after the $5,000 bonus for winning both the JEGS/CRA race
on Friday and then the Saturday night headliner.

"We're ready to go. Haven't run a full race in about a month. Got some seat time on June
1st at Berlin, but only got to run 19 laps." Laughed the Cutlerville, Michigan driver. "I'm real happy to have Dave (Sensiba) with us racing as well. I've learned so much in such a short amount of time that he's been on the team. I'm hoping to learn more after Friday when he runs the JEGS/CRA race. Hopefully we'll both be up towards the front on Saturday." He ended.

"It feels good to be back behind the wheel of a car on a somewhat regular basis. I hope to do well this weekend. It's going to be busy that's for sure." Added Sensiba, a former competitor in the now defunct ASA National Tour. "We have good equipment and a good team behind us and Jay is one heck of a wheel man. His time is coming for some wins. Hopefully I can show these guys I still have something left myself this weekend." The 50-year-old ended.

The Inaugural Battle at Berlin 251 is the first jewel in the $100,000 JEGS Triple Crown Series as a potential $100,000 is up for grabs to the driver who can win all three legs of the series. After the Battle at Berlin 251, the Triple Crown continues with the continues with the Redbud 300 at Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana on July 20th and concludes with the 42nd running of the Winchester 400 on October 13th.

If a driver can win all three races, they will get a whopping $100,000 bonus. If someone can win two of the three Triple Crown events that driver will receive a $10,000 bonus.  If no driver wins two of the Triple Crown events, the driver who accumulates the most points during those three events will receive a $5,000 bonus and the title of Champion of the JEGS/CRA $100,00 Super Late Model Triple Crown.

Going into the 251, Niewiek, the Three-Time Cometic Gaskets Hard-Charger of the Year Award Winner in the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS is sitting a solid fifth place in the season long points standings only 18 markers out of the points lead. With another top 10 finish, Niewiek will certainly move up at least one position and possible more depending on the outcome of the extra distance race.

A top 10 showing in his last race at a track where he admittedly struggles at; the ¼ mile of Anderson Speedway in the Sell It Again Sam 125 Presented by Great Deals Magazine has the 19-year-old brewing with optimism heading into the new third race of the season in ARCA/CRA competition; “I think now that the bad luck is gone. We can hopefully focus on getting some top fives, earning some points and maybe even get a win or two.” He ended.

For Berlin, Niewiek’s #84 and Sensiba's #48 both with Ford Fusion bodies, will carry sponsorship decals on the side of each car from; Michigan CAT of Grand Rapids as well as T.A.A.G.
