44 Entries Already for Historic Combined Event at Toledo Speedway
The Cars and Stars of the ARCA/CRA Super Series and ARCA Midwest Tour to go Head-to-Head on April 20th

Salem, IN (April 4, 2013) – CRA officials have released the first list of entries to date for the historic “Border Wars” 7-UP 150 at Toledo Speedway on Saturday, April 20th, were the ARCA Midwest Tour presented by SCAG Power Equipment and Lester Buildings and the ARCA/CRA Super Series will contest the first ever combination race between the two template touring late model powers. Both series will bring an extreme amount of talent together for the season opener at Toledo Speedway along with some southern flare including Georgia top gun Bubba Pollard and 15 year old South Carolina native Kyle Benjamin who has been on a tear so far this year with four wins at New Smyrna Speedway during Speedweeks in February, a win at The Rattler at South Alabama Speedway on March 17th and a second place finish in his first ever ARCA Racing Series event on March 9th at Mobile International Speedway.

2012 ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion Johnny VanDoorn, who has been to victory lane at Toledo Speedway before, heads up the ARCA/CRA Super Series contingent, while 2012 ARCA Midwest Tour presented by SCAG Power Equipment and Lester Buildings Champion Jonathan Eilen will make his first ever trip to Toledo Speedway leading the ARCA Midwest contingent. To date there are already 10 states represented in the 44 entries, the entry list is expected to grow to over 50 cars by race day.

An optional open practice session is set for Friday, April 19 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. All Friday pit pass purchasers will be treated to a bbq chicken dinner following the practice at the Speedway Bar and Grille, located adjacent to the track. The Drive Time Sports Talk Radio show, 106.5 FM, will be live from the Bar and Grille from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. that day with host Mike Miller.

Race day, Saturday, April 20 will see practice begin at 11 a.m., time trials are set for 3 and racing starts at 5 p.m. The schedule includes a last-chance race (if necessary), an on-track autograph session and the 7-Up 150 lap feature, which will be all green flag. A 10 minute break is planned at lap 76 of the contest. A rain date of Sunday, April 21 at 1 p.m. has been established if necessary.

Race fans can save $5 per ticket if purchased prior to race day by calling the Toledo track office at 419-727-1100 or downloading the 2013 ticket order form at www.toledospeedway.com. It is located under forms. The order can be electronically mailed to the track.
