Brandon Hermiller Hoping For Some Good Fortune In Coming Back Home To Berlin Raceway
2013 Season Opener for the tracks Budweiser Super Late Models On Saturday, April 27th (Special from H.S. Die Racing Team)
April 26, 2013
Walker, Michigan (April 26, 2013) – There’s nothing like coming home to your home track for a weekend. Just the thought of not having to travel any type of long distance down the highways and byways of the Midwestern United States is a great thought. Especially when you’re Brandon Hermiller. So far in three races during the 2013 racing season, he has traveled to Georgia, Alabama and most recently Ohio to compete in some of the biggest races in the country.

Now Hermiller and the entire H.S. Die / VISI-TST Ford Racing Team can stay closer to home for the next  event on their 2013 schedule as the team will make the short 10 minute drive to their home track of Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan on Saturday, April 27th for the 2013 Season Opener for the tracks Budweiser Super Late Models which features template bodied Super Late  Models that adhere to the rules and regulations of the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS.

“I'm really excited to head to Berlin this weekend. I think we have a good car and the whole team has a good feeling about it.” Remarked the driver from near-by Walker, Michigan. “I think we can get a pretty good finish. We will be in the backup car for Berlin but I think that car has just as much potential as the primary car.” The 2011 Berlin Track Champion in the old Pro Stocks division added.

In Hermiller’s last race, the Border Wars 7-Up 150 at the famed 1/2 (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the ARCA Midwest Tour combination race, a stacked field of 43 teams were on the grounds and the top 20 would come through Qualifying. Goal #1 for the team was to make the show on time and that’s exactly what the 20-year-old did as he timed in 19th and would not have to run one of the two last chance races.

After running in the top 15 for almost the entire race, mechanical problems sidelined Hermiller and he was relegated to a 20th place finish. “It's a shame the clutch burnt up with 10 to go. We were about to break into the top 10 and we were on the move to a pretty solid finish.” He explained. “The car was fast that’s for sure and knowing we can compete with some of the best drivers in the country gives us a ton of confidence for the rest of the season.” He ended.

For the rest of the 2013 campaign, the H.S. Die Team will compete primarily in the bigger shows within the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS as well as the ARCA Midwest Tour. He'll also race in select events in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour as well as at his home track of Berlin Raceway, located just 10 minutes from the Walker, Michigan race shop in Marne, Michigan in the tracks Budweiser Silver Bullet Super Late Models Series. “
