Concord, North Carolina (April 26, 2013) – Champion Racing Association powered by JEGS officials have announced an exclusive partnership with Speed51.com for the 2013 season. This partnership gives Speed51.com, the country’s leading short track racing news website, the exclusive rights for live updates, news and radio coverage for all of their series.
The partnership has been beneficial for both parties on the business side along with increasing exposure for the series, drivers, tracks and events.
“We have had a great partnership with Bob Dillner and his staff going back to 2002,” said RJ Scott, CRA Managing Partner. “Their enthusiasm for asphalt racing coverage has really helped our series grow over the last 10 years and we are excited to go into this exclusive partnership with them. Having 51 on board for our events will greatly enhance the exposure for every driver in the events they cover and that is something they, the series and the tracks can greatly benefit from.”
Speed51.com will provide live Trackside Now event coverage at each of the ARCA/CRA Super Series powered by JEGS and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance events, along with select coverage of the Top Speed Fabrication CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS and the Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS.
“Both Glenn Luckett and RJ Scott have been great to work with, and we are grateful to go into this exclusive partnership with them,” said Bob Dillner, Founder and Owner of Speed51.com. “Their series continues to get stronger every year, especially with their big events like the Rowdy 251, Winchester 400 and the All-American 400. We are proud to be on board to help continue with their growth while spotlighting the drivers through our Trackside Now updates, radio broadcasts and more.”
The longstanding partnership between CRA and Speed51.com has proven to be beneficial for both in regards to exposure.
“Speed 51, from the beginning, has been on the forefront of using the latest technology on the internet to help a series like ours get more exposure on a national level,” Scott said. “If it wasn’t for this, only the race fans in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan would be familiar with us. Speed51.com has allowed us to branch out our brand across the United States, which has helped us gain more long-term relationships with our sponsors. A great example of this is our recently announced five-year agreement with JEGS.”
Dillner agrees with the exposure boost for all parties involved.
“CRA has always been on top of their game, especially when it comes to Super Late Model racing,” Dillner explained. “They want to work with other series and work to make Super Late Model racing events more accessible to competitors and fans. We enjoy getting involved in help sharing with our ever-increasing audience what they are doing in that area along with the notoriety of their big events.
“Fans get excited to the point to where they plan on seeing the event in person and use our mobile Trackside Now coverage to enhance their experience. It is a win-win for everyone.”
The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will open their 2013 season this Sunday, April 28 at Springport Motor Speedway in Springport, MI. The ARCA/CRA Super Series next event will be on Saturday, May 4 at Anderson Speedway in Anderson, IN. Both events will feature live Speed51.com Trackside Now coverage and more.
