Beavercreek, OH (April 18, 2013) – Brandon Oakley and the entire Brandon Oakley Racing Team, led by Crew Chief and former ASA National Tour star, Gary St. Amant will begin their chase for the 2013 ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS Rookie of the Year title on Saturday, April 20th in the Border Wars 7-Up 150 at the famed 1/2 (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio.

It’s been three months since the 18-year-old from Beavercreek, Ohio has been on the race track as in his last appearance, after starting 29th he gained 18 spots en route to finishing an impressive 11th in the ARCA/CRA Super Series portion of SpeedFest 2013 at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, Georgia back on January 27th. Oakley has high hopes heading into the rest of the 2013 racing season as the current campaign will now switch into high gear for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS season.

"I can't wait to get to Toledo and get the season started. Hopefully the rain will stay away and we can get this thing in." He remarked. “"There's going to be a lot of good cars there, and it's going to take a solid lap to make it into the show. Plus our Rookie title battle starts and that is going to be tough. I think we are more prepared to run with Bowen, Kern and Hermiller this year and I can't wait to see what we've got. Gary (St. Amant) has been here a hundred times, so he’s going to spot for me also for this race.” He added.

In 2012 and despite missing three points races within the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance, Oakley still managed a 12th place finish overall in the points standings while also picking up a third place showing in the Howie Lettow Memorial Rookie of the Year title chase as he finished behind only 2012 Rookie of the Year, Anderson Bowen and rookie runner-up, Brandon Hermiller.

In addition, he also made a single appearance at Shady Bowl Speedway in DeGraff, Ohio in the tracks weekly Late Models division to start the season and broke the track record in qualifying before going on to sweep the entire night by winning the tracks Opening Night Feature.
