Lorz Motorsports & Ali Kern Motorsports Team up for the 2013 Racing Season with CRA
Another Names Set for Boyne Machine Company Rookie of the Year

Lorz Motorsports and Ali Kern Motorsports are looking forward to a successful 2013. After working together the past few months, the two teams have agreed to run the ARCA/CRA Super Series with Ali Kern, 19, running for Boyne Machine Company Rookie-of-the-Year.
Mike Lorz and Mike Kern both agree the timing is right for Ali to step up and run with some of the best late model drivers in the country. “We all feel like the time is now for Ali to succeed,” said Mike Kern. “Partnering with Lorz Motorsports will give Ali the opportunity to be in competitive equipment on a weekly basis,” said Kern. “I agree,” said Mike Lorz. “With Ali’s talent and our experience we think it’s a win-win situation.”
After competing in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour last year, Ali finished 10th place overall after missing 2 events. In 2011, Ali won the T.B.R.A. Late Model Championship and Rookie-of-the-Year. Prior to that, the last 13 years, Ali has raced quads, go-karts, modifieds and NASCAR K&N.
CROWN BATTERY will once again be a primary sponsor for Ali Kern Motorsports. In addition, Eibach Springs, Hartland Auto Store, Race4Girls, Hotelplanner.com and Cakes-a-Go-Go will also be onboard this season as sponsors.
“The Lorz Motorsports Team has worked with many drivers in the past, and is certainly excited to have Ali on that list. Our primary goal for Ali this year is for her to have a “top notch” race car at all 15 races on the schedule no matter what the circumstances are. Another thing we will be focusing on is keeping Ali running up front and making sure she’s a contender for the Championship & ROTY. We are an extremely hard working team with many years of knowledge behind us. I truly believe we can do it!” said team owner, Mike Lorz.
“The Lorz Team is excited for the upcoming 2013 ARCA/CRA Super Series with Ali. She has been racing for many years and with this combination everything will work out fine,” said Lorz.
“Our first race will be the “Anderson 125” at Anderson, IN Saturday April 13, 2013. Our team is excited to start another season in ARCA/CRA. We certainly enjoy being a part of the ARCA/CRA racing family, we wouldn’t have it any other way,” laughs Lorz. “This series has been really good to us,” said Lorz.
