CRA to Manage Scoring at New Smyrna Speedway’s World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing

New Smyrna Speedway General Manager Terry Roberts has announced that Champion Racing Association has been hired to manage the scoring process again for the 47th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. CRA will provide all the transponders, scoring equipment and personnel to assist with scoring in the tower. CRA’s Glenn Luckett will be the Race Director for the 47th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing as he was in 2012, CRA’s R.J. Scott and Greg Wood will be assisting him with scoring, line-ups and providing the New Smyrna Speedway staff with scoring information for all official use during the eight nights of racing. 

The 47th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing is set to begin on February 15th and will feature eight days of racing through February 23rd featuring Super Late Models, Pro Late Models, NASCAR Tour Type Modifieds, Florida/IMCA Type Modifieds, Pro Trucks and the USAC Midgets. Tuesday, February 19th will be a scheduled night off at the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing this year.  The World Series is the only Asphalt event of its kind in the United States drawing the best talent from all over the country and Canada to compete for over $250,000 in purses during the eight days.
