Wes Griffith, Jr Joins KBR Development Stable

KBR Development has added it’s first driver development pilot, Wes Griffith, Jr., joining Brian Campbell as 2013 team drivers.
"Wes came to us looking to do something a little different this season,” said team owner Mike Bursley. “He is looking to contend for the JEGS CRA All Stars Tour championship and I think we can surround him with the right tools and team to help accomplish that goal."
Griffith, Jr is a long time follower of the JEGS CRA All Stars Tour and notably last season finished eighth in the season standings under the guidance of Josh Slade and his HS Motorsports team. This season he is looking to again do battle in that series and possibly break out into the Super Late Model ranks as well.
“Joining the KBR team for 2013 is a great step for us,” stated Griffith, Jr. “To be able to draw from those resources and work with Brian and the rest of the team and experience I feel like we have a true shot of getting that first win!”
The addition of Griffith, Jr. has the KBR team very excited about 2013.
"Adding Wes to our program is a great bonus,” Bursley said. "I feel like we can really help him grow as a driver, chase some race wins this season and perhaps help him make the transition over to the Super Late Models. We are not done here, we are still looking for others to hop aboard our team and keep building this."
KBR Development is currently seeking funded drivers who are looking to be molded into future champions. The team, based out of West Michigan is set and ready to provide a top notch, race winning combination in any of the major touring Super or Crate late model racing series or home tracks featuring a similar rule set. The team is also interested in creating a strategic alliance with teams in the NASCAR divisions to help bring along and groom their future talent. Any sort of program can be put together from full time championship chasing seasons to one off events and even test dates.
