Salem, Indiana (December 12, 2013) – Champion Racing Association (CRA) Powered by JEGS has officially released the 2014 Schedules for the two premier tours within CRA; the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance. The ARCA/CRA Super Series will feature 16 total events with 14 of those shows counting towards the 2014 Championship while the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will boast 15 total races with 13 counting towards the 2014 Title.
"We are really excited about the 2014 schedules for both the ARCA/CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour," remarked Glenn Luckett, Managing Partner of CRA. "We have a great mix of events on both series schedules that will challenge our drivers throughout the season and provide some great racing for our fans!" He added.
The 2014 racing season kicks off with the traditional non-points door openers for both ARCA/CRA and JEGS/CRA;
SpeedFest 2014 at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, Georgia on Saturday-Sunday, January 25-26th.
SpeedFest 2014 will consist of a 200-Lap ARCA/CRA headliner as well as a 125-Lap JEGS/CRA event. The ARCA/CRA
race will have a break at lap 100 and will count yellow flag laps up to lap 175. The JEGS/CRA race will be a four tire only
event and will count yellow flag laps up to lap 100. Both entry forms and complete information for the event are available
Then it's time to get down to business for the ARCA/CRA Super Series as the Official 2014 Season Opener
counting towards the chase for the 2014 Championship begins on Saturday, April 12th at the fast 1/2 (0.500) mile
high-banked paved oval of Toledo Speedway (OH) with the running of the Border Wars 150. This event also serves
as the first of two combination races with their counterparts from the ARCA Midwest Tour.
From there, the premier Super Late Models tour in the country will head to one of the stalwart tracks on the
schedule; Anderson Speedway (IN) on Saturday, April 26th for the first of two appearances at the historic 1/4 mile
and 55th overall in the Super Series' 18-year history, the most of any track on the schedule.
Then the tour will take a month off before coming back with the second and final combination race with the ARCA Midwest Tour on Memorial Day Monday, May 26th with a visit to Illiana Motor Speedway (IN) for the highly anticipated second Border Wars 150. This will be the first visit for the ARCA/CRA Super Series to Schererville, Indiana since 2008 and seventh overall career appearance at the Chicagoland 1/2 mile.
Just five days later, Berlin Raceway (MI) will host the series for the first of two shows on Saturday, May 31st before returning to Anderson Speedway (IN) on Saturday, June 14th with the running of the prestigious Redbud 300 which has been held in July in years past. Then after taking two years off, Columbus Motor Speedway (OH) returns to the ARCA/CRA schedule on Saturday, June 28th for the series' ninth appearance all-time at the circular 1/3 mile oval.
The 2nd annual Battle at Berlin 251 moves to July in 2014 with the date set for Saturday, July 19th. This will be the second and final appearance at the famed Marne, Michigan fairgrounds oval for the year. Then just six days later on Friday, July 25th, the ARCA/CRA Super Series joins the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards at the immaculate Lucas Oil Raceway (IN) as part of Brickyard Speedweeks.
One of the most anticipated dates on the 2014 schedule is the return trip, for the first time since 2006, to the fast 3/8s mile high-banks of Kalamazoo Speedway (MI) on Wednesday, August 13th as the ARCA/CRA Super Series will be a part of the biggest event in the country for Outlaw Bodied Super Late Models; Kalamazoo Klash XXII. The Template Super Late Models from the ARCA/CRA Super Series will race in a thrilling 100-lap main prior to the 150-lap event for the Outlaw Super Late Models.
Just three days later, the series travels East across the Great Lakes State to make their now yearly appearance at the fast 1/4 mile of Flat Rock Speedway (MI) on Saturday, August 16th. Then after taking a little time of to recoup for the stretch run, the legendary 1/2 mile high-banks of Winchester Speedway awaits on Sunday-Monday, August 31-September 1st as the Super Series teams once again serve as headliners of the World Stock Car Festival.
The uniquely shaped Kil-Kare Speedway (OH) returns to the schedule with a special Sunday afternoon show on September 14th before taking a week off to prepare for the popular Fall Brawl 2014 back at Lucas Oil Raceway (IN) on Saturday-Sunday, September 27-28th.
One of the most prestigious races in the country and one of the four 'majors' on the calendar for Template Bodied Super Late Models is the 43rd running of the Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway (IN) as the legendary 1/2 mile high-banks will once again the ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion and Rookie of the Year over the weekend of Friday-Sunday, October 10-12th.
Finally the ARCA/CRA Super Series will be a part of the 30th edition of the All-American 400 Weekend in a non-points role with their counterparts within the Southern Super Series, who will decide their 2014 Series Champion at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville (TN) on Friday-Saturday, October 31st-November 1st.

For the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, the 2014 Door Opener counting towards the run for the 2014 title starts on a special Sunday
afternoon, May 4th as the fast 3/8s (0.375) mile high-banked paved oval of Springport Motor Speedway (MI) kicks off the fourth
season for the premier template bodied / crate motored tour in the country with the running of the Cabin Fever 100.
Then it's a return visit to one of the most immaculate short tracks in the country and the longest distance road trip of the
season for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour; the fast 3/8s mile of Lebanon I-44 Speedway (MO) with the 2nd annual Mercy
Masters of the Pros 144. A week later, it's the traditional visit to Columbus Motor Speedway (OH) to kick off the Memorial Day
Holiday Weekend on Saturday, May 24th.
A special non-points race slated for Saturday-Sunday, June 7-8th will see the JEGS/CRA Teams make the haul to the famed Milwaukee Mile (WI) as part of ARCA Fest and the 3rd annual Howie Lettow Memorial. Then after a week break from the Milwaukee event, the famed Salem Speedway (IN) returns to the schedule on Saturday, June 21st as just two weeks later, JEGS/CRA makes their first ever appearance to the fast 3/8s mile of Angola Motorsport Speedway (IN) on Saturday, July 5th in celebration of the Fourth of July Holiday Weekend.
On Friday, July 18th, the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour kicks off the Battle at Berlin 251 weekend at the famed fairgrounds oval of Berlin Raceway (MI) while the following week, on Saturday, July 26th, the traditional yearly appearance at the smallest track on the schedule; Anderson Speedway (IN) is up next. From there a return visit to Auto City Speedway (MI) is set for Saturday, August 9th.
After a much needed rest to regroup for another stretch run at the 2014 title, the series returns to the legendary 1/2 mile high-banks of Winchester Speedway (IN) on Sunday, August 31st to kick off the World Stock Car Festival. The following Saturday, September 6th, the Tour returns to the fast 3/8s mile high-banks of Owosso Speedway (MI) as the teams were unable to race there last year due to a rain out as well as Tour and Track Officials unable to come up with a suitable make-up date.
A return trip to Springport Motor Speedway (MI) on Saturday, September 20th is up next for the tours' final visit to the state of Michigan before the JEGS/CRA teams join all of their CRA counterparts for Fall Brawl 2014 at Lucas Oil Raceway (IN) on Saturday-Sunday, September 27-28th. The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will crown their 2014 Tour Champion and Rookie of the Year and help kick off the 43rd Running of the Winchester 400 Weekend in the process on Friday October 10th with the Tour Championship race.
