Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS Announces 2013 Awards Banquet Date

All Four CRA Touring Series' To Be Honored In One Gala Evening

Salem, Indiana (November 13, 2013) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS has announced that the

2013 Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS Awards Banquet will move back to downtown Indianapolis

at the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Downtown at Union Station. The event will take place on Saturday, January 11th,

2014, honoring the top 10 teams in 2013 points from the ARCA/CRA Super Series, Top Speed Fabrication CRA

Late Model Sportsman and the Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks, as well as the top 13 teams in points from the

JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance.

“We are very happy to bring the CRA Awards Banquet back to exciting downtown Indy and back to the elegant Crowne Plaza Indianapolis,” remarked R.J. Scott, Managing Partner with CRA. “We have to thank Shepherd Insurance & Financial Services for coming on board to support this year’s banquet, without their help we would not have been able to make the move back downtown!”

On Saturday, January 11th, there will be a reception to start the evening’s events at 5pm, followed by a buffet dinner at 6pm, with the

awards ceremony immediately following at approximately 7pm. The Bishops, Indy's Number 1 rated Pop & Rock Party Band, will be

back to perform after the awards ceremony at approximately 9:30pm.

In addition to the point finishing awards, there will be several special award winners honored that night including each CRA divisions

Rookie of the Year, each divisions Sportsman of the Year and each divisions Dedication Awards. Speed 51.com will also be announcing the winners of each CRA Divisions Most Popular Driver Awards. There will be over $21,000 in product given away by random draws between the four CRA Divisions at the awards banquet, a team representative has to be in attendance to collect any awards either earned or given away at the banquet. There will

also be drawings for prizes for the women present at the banquet.

The Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Downtown is conveniently located at 123 W. Louisiana St at the historic Union Station.

The ARCA/CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour teams that ran at least 75% of the point events in 2013 will

receive four complimentary banquet tickets. Also for the first time ever the CRA Late Model Sportsman and CRA Street

Stock teams that ran at least 75% of the point events in 2013 will receive two complimentary banquet tickets.
