Nothing to Lose now for Buckeye State Freshman in Biggest Race of his Career (Special from Brandon Oakley Racing)
October 9, 2013
Beavercreek, Ohio (October 9, 2013) – With a fifth place points position firmly secured no
matter the outcome of the 42nd running of the Winchester 400 at the famed 1/2 (0.500)
mile high-banked paved oval of Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Indiana, 19-year-old
Brandon Oakley will be going all-out in the biggest race of his career against some of the
top drivers in the country.

In addition to the 400, Oakley will be doing 'double-duty' during the prestigious weekend as
he'll also take part in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars  Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance
portion which kicks off 400 weekend on Friday, October 11th. The Winchester 100
Presented by JEGS.com will be used as a learning tool for the rest of the weekend as
track time is oh so important on the legendary high-banks.

"Hopefully we can learn something in the crate race on Friday to use on our 400 car the
rest of the weekend." The Beavercreek, Ohio driver stated. "I'm looking forward to running
the 400 this year. Definitely the biggest race of my career so hopefully we can stay out of
trouble and make it to the end. I can't think Dayton International Airport and
DKBicycles.com and Oakley Blacktop enough for making this coming weekend and this
year possible." He added.

Oakley will also finish in second place in the Rookie of the Year title chase as fellow freshman, Ali Kern will clinch that title when she takes the Green Flag in the 400. Overall in the ARCA/CRA Super Series in 2013, Oakley will finish fifth in the season long points chase. His season high finish is a third place showing at Auto City Speedway for his lone top five to go with two top 10 showings. He does have seven top 15 finishes during the year as well.

For the rest of the 2013 racing season in the ARCA/CRA Super Series, all of Oakley’s #51 Brandon Oakley Racing Chevrolet Impalas, one black, one orange and one white will all carry sponsorship support and decals from Dayton International Airport as well as DKBicycles.com Oakley Black Top, Buckminn's D&D Harley-Davidson, Duncan Oil, Main Auto Parts, McAfee Heating & Air, AR Bodies and M.P.H.
