End Of The Season Special Events Schedule Starts For Chad Finley At The 42nd Running Of The Winchester 400
All-American 400 and Snowball Derby to follow for Chad Finley Racing (Special from Chad Finley Racing)
October 3, 2013
DeWitt, Michigan (October 3, 2013) – As preparations continue for the biggest race of the
2013 racing season, and perhaps the biggest race of Chad Finley's career; the 42nd
running of the Winchester 400 on Friday-Sunday, October 11-13th at the famed 1/2 (0.500)
mile high-banked paved oval of Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Indiana, Chad Finley
has only one goal in mind; A Win at the legendary high-banks.

“Everyone knows Winchester by name, and when you’ve run there for years, you know that
sometimes it's not forgiving.” Laughed the DeWitt, Michigan driver as he and his Chad
Finley Racing Team continue preparations for the longest distance race of his career. “I’ve
had my share of mishaps there, even being upside down once, but I have a good feeling
about the 400. So we will keep an open mind and get down there and get after it" He
added.

In Finley's last ARCA/CRA Super Series the CRA Fall Brawl 2013 Presented by P.A.D.D.
(People Against Distracted Driving) at Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont, Indiana back on
September 22nd, Finley was an innocent bystander in a multi-car pile-up with 15 laps to
go. Despite a severely damaged machine, the CFR crew got their driver back out and he
wound up with a sixth place showing.

“After our wreck at Lucas Oil, myself and the whole team have worked very hard to get our car back in once piece and ready for the 400. She will have a new Five Star body on her when she rolls out of the shop” The 21-year-old Finley continued. “So many great drivers have competed in this race over the years and it's an honor to be able to race with them.” He added.

After Winchester, plans for the team includes the ARCA/CRA Super Series - Southern Super Series combination race; the All-American 400 on Friday-Saturday, November 1-2nd at the famous 0.596 mile high-banked paved oval of Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee. From there, the team will then prepare for the biggest short track event in the country; the 46th annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida on December 3-8th.
