'Post-Season' Continues For Brandon Hermiller As The All-American 400 Is Next
First Trip to Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville for Michigan Driver (Special from H.S. Die/VISI-TST Ford Racing Team)
October 30, 2013
Walker, Michigan (October 30, 2013) – With the 2013 racing season all over in most parts
of the country, the 'post-season' has started for most traveling series teams in the country
who are looking to add just a couple more races to their schedule and perhaps don't want
their season to end.  For Brandon Hermiller and the H.S. Die / VISI-TST Ford Racing Team,
the season rolls on and since January, there's never really been an 'off-season' and there
are no plans to slow down anytime soon.

The 20-year-old driver from Walker, Michigan will make the nine-plus hour trip south to the
historic 0.596 mile high-banked paved oval of Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville  in Nashville,
Tennessee on Friday-Saturday, November 1-2nd for the 29th running of the All-American
400. This event is the 2013 Championship race for the Southern Super Series while also
being co-sanctioned by Hermiller's home base series, the ARCA/CRA Super Series
Powered by JEGS. While it's a non-point race for ARCA/CRA, Hermiller will head down
flying the CRA colors and representing the north in a field full of southern competitors.

"We are excited for Nashville. It will be a new track for me. My crew chief, (Josh Slade)
went there last year and has a pretty good setup for the place." Hermiller remarked as he
and the team make final preparations before the trip south. "I'm also excited to race a race
in the Southern Super Series. There are real good drivers in that series. I've also heard
nothing but good things about the entire organization. I think we have a real good chance to go there and be fast." He added.

This won't be Hermiller's first trip south this season as he and the team went about five hours further south of Nashville to South Alabama Speedway (AL) back on March 16-17th to compete in the 37th annual Rattler 250. Despite never seeing the facility before that weekend, Hermiller, who timed in 19th fastest the day before in Pole Qualifying would gain 10 positions to post a ninth place finish.

Hermiller spent the majority of his 2013 racing season with the ARCA/CRA Super Series and despite missing some events, he did manage and impressive eighth in the final points standings with four top 10 finishes including a season high of a sixth coming at his home track of Berlin Raceway (MI) back on August 3rd. He also raced in select events with the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance where he posted a season high finish of sixth, which happened twice at Dixie Motor Speedway (MI) and Lucas Oil Raceway (IN). He finished 16th in the final JEGS/CRA points standings despite missing half of the scheduled races.

He also ran select events at his home track of Berlin Raceway (MI) in the tracks Budweiser Super Late Models Series as he would finish a season high of third back on July 13th. Despite missing over half of the schedule in that series as well, he still came away with an 18th place finish in the final point's tallies.

For the remainder of the 2013 racing season, Hermiller's red #6 H.S.
