Kenny Tweedy Takes Over Lead in Cometic Gasket Hard-Charger Standings
One Points Race Remaining in the chase for the 2013 Hard-Charger Title

Salem, Indiana (October 2, 2013) – ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS veteran
racer Kenny Tweedy has taken over the lead of the Cometic Gasket Hard-Charger standings
after thirteen ARCA/CRA Super Series events so far this season. Rick Turner was the
leader heading into the series last event at Lucas Oil Raceway on September 22nd, but a
bad day for Turner, which resulted in him losing 13 positions in that race, coupled with
Tweedy’s run to the front from his 26th place starting position to finish seventh, put Tweedy
firmly in the lead with 28 gained positions on the season with one points event left, the
Winchester 400 on October 13th.
Newly crowned 2013 ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion Travis Braden is in second place
with 14 gained positions, including the six he gained in getting the win at Lucas Oil
Raceway. Boyne Machine Company Rookie of the Year competitor Brandon Oakley is in
third place with 10 gained positions. Turner is now in fourth place with 0 gained positions.
Cometic Gasket, the Official Gasket of the ARCA/CRA Super Series, will award a $500
bonus to the season leader in the Cometic Gasket Hard-Charger Standings at the 2013
Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet. A driver has to have competed in every
series point’s event to date in order to be eligible for this award.
