2014 Date Announced for 43rd Running of the Winchester 400
400 Weekend set for October 10-12th

Salem, Indiana (October 22, 2013) – Winchester Speedway owner Charlie Shaw and Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have announced that the 43rd Annual Winchester 400, on the famous High Banks of Winchester Speedway, will be held next year on its traditional date of Sunday, October 12, 2014. This prestigious event continues to be one of the premier stock car events in the country sanctioned by the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS.
A week ago last Sunday, 17-year-old Erik Jones but his name in the record books by winning the 42nd Annual Winchester 400 for the Kyle Busch Motorsports Team. Jones took the lead for good with a fast pit stop on lap 352 and was able to hold off former Winchester 400 winner Chase Elliott over the last 30 laps to claim the Winchester 400 Rifle Trophy and all the accolades that go with winning the Winchester 400.
The 43rd Running of the Winchester 400 Weekend will have preliminary events on Friday, October 10th and Saturday, October 11th with the 43rd Running of the Winchester 400 on Sunday, October 12th. Additional track and event information can be found at www.winchesterspeedway.com
